I admire you, Modi-ji, and I’d love to see you turnround and change
All you have to do is use your political insight and make an exchange
Politics, after all, is the art of adjusting your ways; one must rearrange
As long as a large number of people believe you won’t short-change
FOR you, no problem; nearly 40 percent of Indians are your electorate
You lost Karnataka, a key to the South; you’ve retained a viable mandate
If you acknowledge lousy policy decisions, you could probably mitigate
But you must switch from Godse to Gandhi, and end your politics of hate
PERHAPS you could take a lesson from the common Indian chameleon
They can change skin color rapidly; seem quite adept at communication!
It is some built-in protection for their survival, for the option is oblivion!
It is biological for lizards, but for you, a spiritual or political conversion?
NOW you might ask why I admire you; it is about changing a religion
I am fascinated by how you altered India’s 4,000-year-old civilization
You convinced Sanatan Dharm believers to change their Truth perception
Made them believe a Hindutva scorning good for evil was integration
THAT interests me because I consider Christianity as a Trojan Horse
Which entered into the Christian faith and also changed its course
I call it ‘The Great Distraction,’ people got hooked to religion’s force
I’m trying to warn the Church to return to its 2,000-year-old source
BUT there is another reason; I respect how you escaped from poverty
Sadly, you got diverted from giving India’s poor that precious liberty
Instead, you injected poison and between our people created enmity
How could you bring prosperity to a nation by disregarding community?
MODi-JI, with greatness thrust upon you, how can you lose the race?
You are at the helm of a great nation, waiting to take its rightful place
Humility is the key to significance, turnaround, admitting your mistakes
If its Maryada Purushottam you want to model, show his truth and grace
